This Privacy Policy explains what personal information DialedTint processes, why, and the choices you have. It covers the DialedTint website and application.
Businesses that use DialedTint decide what information about their own customers they enter. For that information the business is the controller and DialedTint processes it on the business's behalf.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address and sign-in details, including your Google profile email if you sign in with Google.
- Business information: business name, address, phone, email, logo, timezone, currency and settings.
- Customer Data entered by a business: contacts, addresses, vehicles, projects, measurements, proposals, invoices, payments, notes, files, reviews and lead form submissions.
- Technical information: error reports and basic request data needed to run and secure the Service.
How we use information
- To provide the Service, keep each business's data separated and let authorized staff work with it.
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse and fix errors.
- To communicate with account owners about the Service, including important changes.
- To improve the Service using aggregated statistics that do not identify individuals.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use Customer Data for advertising, and the application does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Browser storage
The application stores your sign-in session and small preferences (language, theme, selected business, calendar and report settings) in your browser's local storage so it works as expected. You can clear them in your browser settings, which will sign you out.
Service providers
We rely on providers that host the application and its database, provide sign-in with Google, display maps (Google Maps) and suggest addresses (Photon by Komoot). They receive only the information needed for their function, for example the address being searched or displayed.
Customer messages
DialedTint does not send email or SMS to your customers yet. Proposals, invoices and documents are shared through links that you send yourself. If messaging is enabled later, this policy will be updated before it starts.
Retention
We keep information while the account is active. When a business deletes records or closes its account, the information is removed from the active database within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it for legal reasons.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information and to object to certain uses. If your information was entered by a business that uses DialedTint, contact that business first; we will help them respond.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted so that each business can only see its own records. No system is perfectly secure; please report vulnerabilities as described in our Responsible Disclosure Policy.
Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.
